Empowerment Infoshop613 Dundas St, London, Ontario, CanadaThe Empowerment Infoshop is a cross between a radical book distro and a social justice center, that hosts educational events. Activists go there to read or buy social justice literature and acquire goods, such as stickers, patches and buttons; connect with upcoming activist events or demonstrations, as well as pick up recorded lectures or films. We carry zines and host events about Revolutionary philosophy, Environmentalism, Feminism, Anti-War movements, etc. The Empowerment Infoshop is rooted in the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) ethic. We produce social justice and counter cultural goods, with local artists helping to create the t-shirts, patches and buttons we carry. We provide an outlet for zine authors and small publishers to sell their work, and to network with infoshops in other cities. We are located inside Baker's Dozen, at Dundas & Adelaide (613 Dundas street).
